Description
It may be wrong for the most influential figure in history: Marie Stuart, 16, and widowed at the age of 18. It seems that Mary was at that time defying pressure to marry again but insisted that she return to her hometown in Scotland to regain her rightful throne. During this difficult period, Scotland and England were under the reign of Elizabeth I, which may be unplanned for Mary.
